When the young need to teach the old about manners, it's a terrible terrible sight indeed. As we look up to our elders for advice, is it socially acceptable to give a lecture to someone signifigantly older?

anyhow, most people might perceive as rude, but it can be also taken to be that the younger counterpart as being cheeky.. that is if the older counterpart is game enough to swallow his dignity and admit his mistake
